Mainland china mobile phone maker TCL Communication Technology Holdings plans to shift its focus to the manufacture of higher-margin handsets to boost sales, according to chief executive Charles Yang. Mr Yang said one of the new models would be the OT-800, a BlackBerry-like 2.75G mobile telephone with a full keyboard. china hiphone, under the Alcatel brand, will be tailor-made for users to chat or exchange instant messages.
